Code of Conduct

Coaches, managers, players and parents are to adhere to the SBMC Volleyball code of conduct.

SBMC Volleyball is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and given equal opportunity, as well as prohibiting discriminatory practices. Members are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner consistent with our values and may be subject to suspension for engaging in any of the following behavior:

– not complying with the rules, regulations or policies of SBMC Volleyball;

– verbally or physically abusing an opponent, officials, referees, spectators, or sponsors;

– showing disrespect to players or officials, including the use of foul language and obscene or offensive gestures;

– abusing playing equipment or playing area;

– any other unreasonable conduct which brings the game into disrepute, including but not limited to, abusive use of alcohol, non-medical use of drugs, use of alcohol by minors.

– incident of disrespectful, offensive, abusive, racist or sexist comments or behavior directed towards others, including but not limited to peers, opponents, athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, spectators and sponsors;

– unsportsmanlike conduct such as angry outbursts or arguing.

By registering your child to SBMC Volleyball you become a member of SBMC organization and you automatically agree that your child's photo can appear on our website and our Instagram account. If you do not consent, please contact managers directly via Contact form.
